We recently invested in a Virtual Reality (VR) system, which offers a host of benefits to us and our clients, including enhanced project visualization, improved safety standards and training, better collaboration among stakeholders and reduced costs and errors.
With this technology, at preconstruction phase, we can walk through our projects, confirming our external envelope design and installation is accurate, from the outset.
In terms of the construction phase, we have rolled out Augmented Reality (AR) on a live project and have a dedicated BIM station at the workface for our installation teams to use, which helps with clash detection, ease of coordination on site and more efficient build processes.
