Last week, TeamCrown strengthened their safety expertise on our Helsinki project by attending external LOLER & PEWER Inspector training. Investing in our team’s skills ensures we maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance across all lifting operations, providing confidence that every piece of equipment is thoroughly checked and certified.
Darren Bourke, Group Health, Safety & Environmental Director, who also participated in the training, commented:
“There can be vast differences in regulations from country to country on what needs certification, and also how often inspections should take place. Our position is simple and robust, all lifting equipment must be accompanied by a Report of Thorough Examination. In training our site teams as LOLER & PEWER Inspectors, we are now qualified to certify lifting equipment in cases where there is any ambiguity.”
