The Roundwood community is being invited to come together for a special 6.3 km community walk on Saturday 10th October at 2 pm in support of Fergus Farrell and his incredible 4,500 km walk across America.
The Roundwood Community Walk will take place along the Upper Vartry Reservoir, with participants invited to run, roll, or stroll the route. The walk will take approximately 1.5 hours and is open to everyone, with families very welcome to take part.
Walking for a bigger purpose
Fergus Walks is about more than one incredible journey. Fergus is taking on the challenge of walking 4,500 km across America to raise awareness and support for Spinal Injuries Ireland, while highlighting the impact that spinal injury can have on individuals, families, and communities.
The Roundwood walk is an opportunity for people to play their part in that mission. Whether you come along with family, friends, or colleagues, every person taking part helps build awareness, show support, and contribute to a worthy cause.
So, whether you run, roll, or stroll, come along, enjoy the walk, and be part of the Fergus Walks journey.
